7. Safety Built Into The Mingle Movement

Safety isn't an add-on — it's wired into the product. Here's what we've built into every call:

Live AI moderation on every call

An on-device AI scans a still frame from your camera every few seconds during a video call. Frames that look safe are discarded immediately and never stored. No call audio or video is ever recorded.

Immediate call shutdown for nudity or sexual content

If the AI detects explicit content — genitals, sexual acts, or full nudity — the call is ended instantly. The offender's account is suspended pending review, and only the single flagged frame is retained as evidence (auto-deleted after 30 days).

One-tap block & report

Every call screen and rating screen has a block & report button. Blocking is permanent and two-way — you will never be matched with that person again. Reports go straight to our safety team for review.

Identity & liveness verification

New members complete a liveness check and photo verification before they can call others, which helps shut down fake profiles, bots, and catfishing attempts.

Consequences for offenders

Confirmed exposure or sexual misconduct results in a permanent ban, and serious incidents (including any image-based abuse or content involving minors) are reported to the eSafety Commissioner and law enforcement.

No DMs, no photo trading

There's no private messaging or photo exchange on the platform — every interaction is a live, moderated video call. This removes the main channels used for grooming, sextortion, and unsolicited explicit images.

8. Reporting to The Mingle Movement
