Our compliance rating — Tier 2 (Complies)

The Mingle Movement self-assesses its compliance rating as Tier 2 (Complies). Our service meets the requirements set out in the Code. This rating is reviewed annually and will be updated if our systems, processes, or the Code's requirements change.

Our commitments to you

  • Identity & liveness verification — every new profile must complete a full-length photo check and an AI facial scan before they can call anyone.
  • Live video format — first interactions are short video calls, not anonymous chat, reducing impersonation, catfishing, and romance-scam risk.
  • AI-assisted moderation — proactive detection of policy-violating content and conduct (s.5.2 of the Code).
  • Automated content controls — non-compliant profile images are blocked or removed without requiring a complaint first.
  • Plain-language safety — clear rules, transparent reporting, and a visible status so you know what's happening.
  • Reporting & response — block and report tools on every video call and rating screen. Serious reports are actioned promptly.
  • Data protection — your contact details are only shared after you explicitly choose to share them during the video call.
  • Trust & Safety governance — a designated Trust & Safety Leader within senior management with clear roles and accountability.
  • Law enforcement contact — designated point at hello@theminglemovement.com.

Your responsibilities

  • Be fully clothed during each call.
  • Treat others with respect and courtesy at all times.
  • Use real photos of yourself and accurate profile information.
  • Never share financial information or send money to anyone you've met on the platform.
  • Report suspicious behaviour, suspected scams, or underage users immediately.
  • Meet in public for any in-person dates and tell someone you trust.

Complaints and reports

You can report another user's conduct, our handling of a previous report, or any concern about our compliance with this Code.
