Nothing else on the market works like Mingle

Standard calls are split, each person spends 6 credits per 5-minute block. When you tap Cover their call next to the Call button, you're telling Mingle you'd like to pick up the whole tab: 12 credits per 5-minute block from your wallet, nothing from theirs.

The receiver sees a banner the moment the call connects and can either accept or choose "I'll pay my way". If the call gets extended, your offer keeps applying, you don't have to re-offer every 5 minutes.

When the person you want to call is already on another call, you join their queue instead of getting a busy signal. We show you your spot in line and roughly how long the wait is.

The person being called sees how many people are waiting and can choose to wrap up their current chat or extend it. When it's your turn, Mingle rings both phones automatically.

After a call ends, each person rates the experience. Your average star rating is shown on your profile, so being respectful and present in calls pays off over time.

Consistently low scores trigger a manual review by our safety team so the community stays kind and respectful.

Any member can request a booking, pick a time up to 14 days ahead and the other person gets the request in their Mingle inbox. Once they accept, the booking is locked in for both of you.

About 5 minutes before the call, we send a reminder push notification to both phones and drop a reminder message in each inbox, then open the call automatically at the scheduled time. Push reminders work even when the app is closed, as long as notifications are enabled on the device, if they're turned off, the reminder will be waiting in your inbox the next time you open Mingle.

In your profile settings you can turn any of three things into a hard requirement: your preferred age range, your family plans, and your deal-breakers (up to 5 private choices that never appear on your profile). Every profile starts with all three switched off, so nothing changes until you choose it.

You then pick who can see and book you. Open means everyone in your preferences can see you and book a date, and your requirements are ignored. Controlled means everyone can still see you in Browse, but the Book button is switched off for anyone who doesn't clear your requirements, or whose requirements you don't clear. Private means you only appear in Browse for people who are mutually compatible with you.

We added this because Mingle is live video dating, so every date costs you both real time. Mutual Compatibility keeps that time for the connections that actually have a chance.

At 20 seconds remaining (every time), an Extend button appears. Tap it and the call keeps going for another 5 minute block. Any call extensions will use additional credits at the same rate.

If you are covering their call, the extension is on you too, with no re-prompting them mid conversation.

Credits are how calls are paid for, 6 credits covers a 5-minute block on a standard split call. Pick a tier to get a monthly allowance: Spark (48 credits/mo) or Magnetic (72 credits/mo plus worldwide browse). If you run out before your next renewal, you can top up at any time from your wallet.

Mingle runs an on-device AI model during every call that flags explicit content. It only ever acts on a high-confidence, sustained detection, momentary motion or hand gestures won't trigger anything.

If something does cross the line, the call ends immediately and both people are notified. The AI captures a single still frame of the flagged moment and sends it to our safety team for review as evidence of the incident. No call audio or continuous video is ever recorded, and the retained frame is automatically deleted after 30 days once the review is complete.

If explicit content is detected from one caller, the other person is not charged for the call. The caller who breached the rules is charged for the full 5-minute block — or for the full extended length if the call had been extended.
